The Great Race course and checkpoint locations will be a secret and you’ll receive only one clue at a time, which will lead you to the next checkpoint. You will be responsible to travel with your partner (can not be more than 50 feet apart). There will be checkpoints, which will take most teams around 4 hours to complete. There will be roadblocks, detours, and other tasks that will be required for proper completion of the course. This event is beginner friendly, you do not need to be physically fit. Come join the FUN!

AWARDS AND CATEGORIES
All teams will be 2 person, any gender mix, and will compete in the same category.
1st Place- 4 days 3 nights all inclusive trip for 2 (including airfare) to Mexico
2nd Place- Overnight Trip to Kansas City, dinner, and Royals tickets
3rd Place- Day trip-TBA
REGISTRATION:
- All paid participants receive a goodie bag & cotton t-shirt
- Race Day Registration is available starting at 7AM.
- Online registration closes Friday September 17, 6 PM
- Mail-in registration must be post-marked by August 30, 2010
- To guarantee shirt size you must be pre-registered by September 2, 2010
PACKET PICKUP:
You may pick up your goodie bag, event shirt, & race number Friday September 17, 4- 8 PM, at the House of Hope, Joplin. Or Race morning from 7AM- 8:50 AM at race start, House of Hope Joplin (you may also register at this time and location if the race isn't sold out).

THE PIT STOP
After you check in at the Pit Stop enjoy the post-race food, drinks, music, awards, friends, mix and mingle! The Pit Stop location is the finish line and will remain a secret till race day.
